![]() ![]() Again, I really think it is mostly played on Switch for convenience, based on what I have read on this sub and of course my personal experiences. That, and Switch users probably make up the smallest % of online players. This means that players can carry their progress with them, even if they switch to a different platform. ![]() The game is also 20+ years old, so we are going to see months where the active player base jumps and drops. It is worth noting that cross-progression has already been confirmed for Diablo 2: Resurrected. While many people here prefer D2 over D4, there still is a large chunk of the player base that either put the game down a few months ago because they were gearing up towards D4 and/or made the jump outright when the new game came out. I really only play D2R on my Switch when I am traveling (and that is usually SSF offline), or if my wife wants to watch something on the living room tv that I can zone out of while still being near her on the couch and not sat at my computer. Myself for example, I own the game on a few different platforms: PC, Xbox and Switch. Some people have their preferred platform to game on (mostly PC of course), and likely only use console for convenience. Multiple factors to consider, and I am sure this is not the end-all be-all list lol. ![]()
